	MFFN and MOAPPP Offer Workshops in Greater Minnesota As a statewide network, MFFN is committed to meeting the professional development and networking needs of fatherhood and family services professionals across Minnesota. To help meet this goal, MFFN is collaborating with the Minnesota Organization on Adolescent Pregnancy, Prevention and Parenting (MOAPPP) and the Minnesota Initiative Funds to host eight regional workshops this fall. The regional workshops, titled "Building Networks - Supporting Children: Promoting Effective Policies and Services for Fathers and Adolescent Parents," aim to provide an opportunity for networking and professional development for fatherhood, adolescent parent and social services practitioners and advocates. The 2003 Legislative Session greatly altered the landscape for family-friendly social services across Minnesota. The workshops will help participants to take stock of the changes coming out of the Legislative Session, focus on what works, and make plans for the future of family-friendly services. The workshops are free and open to the public.
